This piece looks like five different shapes next to each other. I named this piece “Shapes” I just thought that the name made sense. I think that the shapes obviously stand out, but not just the shapes, more of the shading is done on them because the rest of the page is black so the white really stands out. This piece was black and white charcoal on a normal piece of paper. I used a lot of shading in this piece and that was kind of the main point of the assignment. Nothing really inspired this piece except for the things that were put in front of me to draw. This doesn’t cover any issues really and it also doesn’t try to express any emotions. This piece actually helped me get a lot better at shading.
